About

I am health-nut under construction. I say that because I am human, and I am fallible. I have one or two days of good eating, good exercise and generally good habits, and then I slip off the wagon (invariably because of an opportunity to share a bottle of wine one with a special friend, and one must nurture those relationships).

I used to be hard on myself, especially when reflecting on that extra glass of wine, or indulgent pasta, but as I have matured I have realised that my happiness and well-being, is not the same as everyone else’s. We all have different dreams and aspirations. What are mine? To be healthy and strong, but that must include a few indulgences, on occasion.

In January 2017, at the ripe old age of 36, I had a mini mid-life crisis. I am in a good job, with security, but there is no satisfaction, no enjoyment – HELP!!! What to do??? I started seeing a counselling psychologist, who is also a life coach, and she has set me on the path I am now. Cut to the present day, and I am starting my Personal Trainer course, through ETA http://www.etacollege.com/ on 17 July 2017.

This Blog is going to be about my personal journey to becoming not only a Personal Trainer, but also becoming a Wellness Coach – for all. Whether you are looking to improve your eating habits, or you want increase your activity levels. Maybe you are an older person, and you are beginning to feel/ notice the challenges of just doing every day things i.e. climbing the stairs. I want to be that person who can help you to change your life, for the best.

As my course progresses, maybe other subjects, and avenues of interest will be introduced, but for now this is my journey. And if you want, it can be our journey, to a Well You.

I dont promise to have all the answers, but that is also not the way I work. I believe in collaborating, sharing, and brainstorming. Together you, and I, can find the solution that best suits you.

In due course I will post contact information, but in the meantime, should you want to engage with me, please read my Blog, and comment underneath.
